Theisen leads Women's CC to first in Pa.

Junior Katie Theisen took first out of 203 finishers and the St. Thomas women's cross country team put five runners in the top 16 to take first of 23 teams at Saturday's DeSales (Pa.) Invitational in Center Valley, Pa.

Theisen clocked 23:29 to win her third race of the season. Teammate Kelly Russ placed second (24:00); Julie Anderson placed sixth (24:25); Raynee Degrio was 15th (24:58); Kalsey Larson was 16th (25:04); Allie Metzler was 20th (25:15); Anne Iddins was 31st (25:32); and Alexandria Johnson was 36th (25:49).
