
St. Thomas defender Stephanie Paasch (JR-Cottage Grove/Park) and midfielder-defender Erin Sprangers (SO-Woodbury/Hill-Murray) were among 18 players named to the women's soccer All-MIAC team announced Friday. Alison True (SO-Wauwatosa, Wis./East) was named to the MIAC Sportsmanship Team.
Paasch was a repeat honoree on the first team. She also was an honorable mention All-MIAC honoree as a freshman in 2005. She had four goals and one assist this season and started all 18 games, and has seven goals and five assists in 52 career games.
Sprangers scored five goals and added two assists in 18 games. She's played in all 36 games on her career and has seven goals and three assists.
The Tommies finished 10-7-1 overall and took sixth in the conference with a 5-5-1 record under first-year coach Sheila McGill.
