
St. Thomas women's swimming & diving standout Jena Root of Roseville was profiled in a recent story in her hometown newspaper, the Roseville Review.
At March the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships in Oxford, Ohio, Root placed 12th of 33 entrants in the prelims of the 100 backstroke in 58.53, under her record of 58.86 set four weeks ago at the conference meet. In the concolation finals, Root placed seventh in 59.16 and finished 15th overall for two team points.
