Women's Tennis gets 4 All-MIAC

MIAC runner-up St. Thomas had four players named All-MIAC in women's tennis, in both singles and doubles.

St. Thomas (17-4) closed its season last weekend in the MIAC playoffs as it beat Macalester 5-2 and lost 5-0 in the championship to Gustavus. On the season, the Toms lost a pair of 5-4 matches and lost 5-0 and 8-1 to Gustavus. 

Honored were Alexandra Frank (FR-Mahtomedi); Dana Vilar (SR-Brookfield, Wis./East); Alison Bruflodt (SO-Eden Prairie); and Brittany Bachman (SR-Litchfield).  

Vilar finished 17-1 this season at third singles. Bachman went 11-6 at Nos. 2-4 singles and 17-3 at No. 2 doubles.
