Women's Track has last tuneup for MIAC meet

The St. Thomas women's track and field team had a few athletes compete in Friday's non-scored Bagpipe Open at Macalester. It's the last tuneup prior to the May 9-10 MIAC Championships in Moorhead.

The Toms won the 4x100 relay (49.43). Beth Magnuson was second in the 5,000 (19:00.4); Karolien Bastiaens was fourth in the long jump (4.92m) and eighth in the 100 meters (13.08); Katie Joyce was eighth in the long jump (4.83m); Erika Wetzel was fourth (34.17m) and Callie Peotter (30.57) was fifth in the javelin.
