Women's Track gets two NCAA provisional marks at St. Olaf

The St.Thomas women's indoor track and field team had two NCAA provisional qualifying marks and won 10 of 16 events, including three by senior All-American Kristal Grigsby, in Thursday's triangular meet with host St. Olaf and St. Catherine.
Grigsby hit the NCAA provisional qualifying standard in the long jump -- the event she won at the 2005 indoor nationals -- as she leaped 17-11 3-4. She also won the 55 meters (7.43, just off the 7.33 provisional standard) and the triple jump (36-5 3-4).
Molly Bauman won the 55 hurdles (9.18), and in the prelims hit the NCAA provisional standard with an 8.55 time.
Other UST victors were Selina Dehn in the high jump (5-3); Christina Chapman in the 200 (26.66); Katie Theisen in the 600 (1:41.62); Meghan Mayer in the 800 (2:26.17); Chelsea Guettinger in the 5,000 (18:34.81); and UST's 4x400 relay n 4:23.89.
