Grigsby matches season best in long jump at U of M

see complete reulsts hereTommie senior Kristal Grigsby matched her season best of 18-8 1-2 to take second out of 44 entries in the long jump at Saturday's Parents Day Open indoor track and field meet at the University of Minnesota.
The 18-8 1-2 is an NCAA automatic qualifying mark for next month's national meet and is six inches off Grigsby's MIAC record.
Grigsby also took fourth in the 60 meter dash in 7.93 and was fifth in the triple jump (36-9 1-2). Selina Dehn was eighth in the triple jump (35-8 3-4).
Christina Chapman (26.42) and Molly Bauman (26.45) placed 3-4 in the 200 meters. Kalsey Larson placed fifth in the mile (5:17.62). Jenny Olin placed fifth in the 5,000 meters (19:07.99). Katie Theisen placed ninth in the 800 meters (2:22.71).
