Kristal Grigsby 6th at NCAA track

St. Thomas senior Kristal Grigsby placed sixth in Friday's long jump to score three team points for UST at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Northfield. It was Grigsby's sixth career All-America honor.

Grigsby, the 2005 national indoor champion, jumped 18-3 1-4, five inches out of first place. Illinois Wesleyan's Melissa Harden took first in 18-8 1-2.
