Grigsby, Dehn hit field event provisional marks

Kristal Grigsby cleared 5-5 in the high jump and Selina Dehn leaped 37-5 3-4 to hit NCAA provisional qualifying marks in those events Friday in day one of the Duke Invitational track and field meet in Durham, N.C.

Molly Bauman just missed a provisional time by .21 seconds in the 400 hurdles as she clocked 64.35. Katie Theisen was close behind in 65.68.

In other Tommie women's performances on Friday, Dehn jumped 5-3 in the high jump; Jada Lewis went 5-1 in the high jump and 36-0 1-4 in the triple jump; Bauman ran 12.99 in the 100 meters; Grigsby ran 26.57 in the 200 meters; in the 400 meters, Christina Chapman ran 59.51 and Shionna Evans ran 60.41; in the 1,500, Ronni Hamilton ran 4:57.88 and Kalsey Larson clocked 5:02.04; and Shannon Kane threw 128-0 in the hammer.
