Sarah Denn joined the University of St. Thomas Athletics Staff as the Athletics Program Manager in July of 2018. In her role, Denn oversees all Ticket Operations, including the Tommie Season Ticket program, as well as serving as a site administrator for events, and assisting with both marketing and budget for the department.
Sarah came to St. Thomas after two years as a Guest Experience Specialist and Tour Coordinator at SMG. As such, Denn developed and operated the Tour Department at US Bank Stadium, including all public, private event, and group tours. She also oversaw Premium Area Guest Experience team members for all major events, such as the 2016 Grand Opening, National Football League (NFL) home games for the Minnesota Vikings, the ESPN X Games, Super Bowl LII, as well as numerous major concerts, MSHSL State Tournaments, trade shows, and galas among others.
Denn also brings experience from Major League Baseball (MLB), where she was a Facility Operations and Security Intern for the Office of the Commissioner in New York City. She spent the summer of 2015 leading operational logistics and staff assignments for the MLB All-Star Game festivities, Draft Day, and official ballpark security visits for all 32 MLB teams.
In addition, Sarah served as an intern for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) during the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia in February of 2014. She also brings experience from the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Minnesota Timberwolves, the Women’s National Basketball Association’s (WNBA) Minnesota Lynx, and was a part of the 2014 MLB All-Star Game festivities at Target Field.
A 2012 graduate of Edina High School, Denn went on to earn a degree in Marketing from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management in 2015. She currently resides in Minneapolis.
