2016 NCAA basketball champion head coach John Tauer will hold a one-day prospect camp Wed. Aug. 7, 2019 in St. Paul at the University of St. Thomas' Anderson Athletic and Recreation Complex.
 
Campers will meet from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and receive instruction from the St. Thomas coaching staff, including Tauer, the 2016 Division III National Coach of the Year.
 
The $100 sign-up fee will cover what promises to be an action-packed day on the St. Thomas campus.
 
Campers will eat two meals in the cafeteria, spend a day on campus, receive a tour of campus, get a camp T-shirt and reversible jersey, work on individual skill development, play half-court games, have videotape sessions, discussions on sport psychology, and play full-court games.
 
Tommie men's basketball:
--won an unprecedented 13 of 14 MIAC regular-season championships from 2006-2019;
--advanced to 13 of 14 NCAA tournaments from 2006-2019;
--advanced to play in three NCAA Division III Final Fours in the past nine seasons (2011, 2013, and 2016);
--is in the top 3 for most wins out of 425 teams in Division III basketball over the past 11 seasons (268-55, 83%);
--won national championships in 2011 and 2016.
