Tommie junior Emmet Herb is among 24 players named to the PING Division III Men's Golf All-America team for 2018-19. It's the second career All-America honor for Herb, who made third team this season.

That helped St. Thomas take 15th place at the 72-hole tournament.
Herb's eight-over-par 296 total was just four shots out of fifth place, and it was the best showing by an MIAC player. Herb made par or birdie on 48 of his 72 holes with nine birdies, two double bogeys, 13 bogeys).
The 2017-18 Conference Player of the Year, Herb just missed the top 40 at nationals as a sophomore in May 2018 with a 299 score over his four rounds. He has a 73.8 career average in 66 rounds, including 21 rounds scoring 72 or better in his first three seasons. He's led the conference in best stroke average each of the last two seasons near 73.0 per season.
