Men's Hockey starts fast, posts shutout win

Freshman Cam Burggrabe stopped all 22 shots for his first collegiate shutout in the nets and Tommie Men's Hockey scored three goals in a 10:00 span of the first period in Saturday's 3-0 shutout victory over Nichols (Mass.).

St. Thomas (4-3-1), which stopped a three-game losing streak, finished 1-1 in the UW-Stevens Point tournament.

Luke Radetic scored his sixth goal of the season, and Ben Vikich and Jack Christensen recorded their first goals of the winter.

Thr Tommies return to MIAC play next weekend with two games against Augsburg -- next up is Friday night on home ice at 7:30 p.m.
