Men's Hockey scores early, often in home win

Brett Gravelle recorded two goals and two assists to lead the host Tommie Men's Hockey team to Saturday night's 6-2 win over UW-Superior at the STA rink in Mendota Heights..

Johnny Panvica scored a goal and three assists, and Andrew Rohkohl stopped 33 of 35 shots in goal. Frankie Spellman and Derek Olmschenk each scored their first goal of the season.

The Tommies (7-4-2) have won four consecutive non-conference games by a combined 20-8 margin, and are 7-1-1 on the season against unranked teams. They received 10 goals from eight different players in two weekend home wins. 

St. Thomas resumes MIAC play next weekend against Gustavus.
