Men's Soccer reaches 10 wins with road shutout

Tommie Men's Soccer used three second-half goals to pull away in a 4-0 road victory Friday night at Northwestern-St. Paul.

Senior Will Kidd scored two goals and senior Walter Alvarado added one for St. Thomas (10-3-1), which ran its win streak to three and posted another 10-win season.

The Eagles (4-8-1) played defense most of the match and were unable to earn a corner kick or take a shot on goal.

Jake Amey scored the final goal for UST. Troy Louwagie was in net all 90 minutes for the shutout. George Marty and Jonathan Acevedo scored assists.

The Tommies play Sunday afternoon in Duluth at St. Scholastica.
