Men's Soccer is NCAA playoff bound again

NCAA bracket here

The Tommie Men's Soccer season resume was good enough to land an at-large berth into the 62-team NCAA playoff field announced Monday.

In fact, four MIAC teams will compete: Carleton won the automatic bid and will host a first-round game; Gustavus got an at-large and will travel to Iowa; and UST and Augsburg also receibed at-large bids and will return to the Tommie campus.

In Saturday Nov. 10 games, the Toms will face Pacific Lutheran at 11 a.m., while Augsburg plays UW-Superior at 1:30 p.m.

The winners play Sunday at 1 p.m., and that victor advances to the round of 16.

This is St. Thomas' third consecutive trip to the NCAA playoffs and eighth all time.
