Casey Holm joined the St. Thomas men's soccer coaching staff in the fall of 2016 and is starting his fourth season. Holm also has 15 years of experience coaching Minnesota soccer at both the club and high school level.
In his first two seasons with the Tommes, Holm and the other St. Thomas coaches were honored as the Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Holm also serves as the Sporting St. Croix Boys Technical Director for U13-U18 where his club teams have won numerous State Cup titles and even bids to Nationals.
For the past nine years he has been head coach of the North St. Paul High School Varsity boys team where he took them to a class AA state title in 2013 and six consecutive Metro East conference titles.
North St. Paul was ranked as high as sixth in the Nation during his tenure. He also helped produce multiple High School All-Americans, a Gatorade Player of the Year and a Minnesota AA Mr. Soccer award winner. Holm was named Minnesota High School coach of the year in 2011 and in 2013 NSCAA Minnesota coach of the year. He also teaches grades 9-12 Social Studies at North St. Paul High.
As a player, Holm attended DCTC and was a Juco All-American ranking 4th in the nation in scoring. He finished his degree at the University of Wisconsin River Falls where he majored in Secondary Education - Social Studies with an emphasis in Psychology.
He currently resides in Woodbury with his wife Natalia.
