St. Thomas Men's Track and Field had six season-best performances Thursday at the UW-La Crosse Last Chance meet:

  • Senior Eric Holst moved to No. 3 nationally in the hammer as he uncorked a 207-4 throw, and he moved to No. 20 in the discus with a career best of 163-8. David Danhauer threw 153-7 in the discus.
  • In the shot put, Danhauer moved to No. 10 nationally in 54-9 1-4; junior Gage O'Brien moved to 17th in 53-5; and freshman Parker Feuerborn moved to 23rd in 52-8.
  • Junior Karl Wachter ran 3:54.09 for third place in the 1,500.

Sophomore Tyler Adler won the javelin at 169-0.

In the long jump, Joshua Prater was sixth in 22-7 1-2; Adam Rikkers took eighth in 22-2 1-4; Nick Spann placed 10th in 21-10 1-4; Conor White placed 12th in 21-8 1-4.
