Men's CC takes 30th at NCAA Championships

Junior Karl Wachter placed 76th in a field of 308 runners Saturday to lead Tommie Men's Cross Country to 30th place at the Division III national championship race.

In his first national meet, Wachter clocked 25:26 on a cold day at Lake Winneconne, Wis. He was the MIAC's third finisher behind two Carleton runners and ahead of the St. Olaf contingent.

Tommie sophomore Carl Kozlowski placed 165th in 25:57; freshman Biel Wiel placed 189th in 26:04; senior Parker Rosenau took 206th in 26:08; junior Collin Kiley took 252nd in 26:49; and freshmen Mac Karrick (255th, 26:53) and Adam Ebent (267th, 27:26) rounded out the lineup.
