Kyle Ague joined the University of St. Thomas women’s basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2018. Ague brings 15 years of coaching experience at the high school and collegiate level to the Tommie coaching staff.

"Kyle brings a wealth of understanding and experience to our staff," mentioned Head Coach Ruth Sinn.  "His commitment to his players as people is genuine. He will be an incredible addition in growing our student athletes on the court, but just as important, off the court."

He is a graduate of Waconia High School, and went on to play collegiate basketball and football at Crown College, where he obtained his degree in Elementary Education. Upon graduation, Ague went on to attain a Master Degree in Teacher Leadership from Walden University.

Coach Ague comes from Southwest Christian High School, where he spent the last year as the girls’ head basketball coach. Prior to his time at Southwest, Coach Ague spent two years as the head girls’ basketball coach at Legacy Christian Academy, and seven years as the assistant girls’ basketball coach at Watertown-Mayer. He also served as the assistant men’s basketball coach at Crown College for two years.

Coach Ague currently works as a paraprofessional at Mound-Westonka. He resides in Mayer with his wife Dana and three children: Elaina, Lilah and Barrett.
