The Tommie women's golf team had the first four individual finishers and won the team championship at the six-team Bethel Invite. The two-day, 36-hole tourney concluded Sunday.
St. Thomas led by 21 strokes going into Sunday's final round and pulled away to win by 57 over runner-up Bethel. The Toms shot 355 on Saturday and 333 on Sunday for a 688 total.
Bethel (745), UW-River Falls (753), Macalester (759), St. Catherine (767) and Augsburg (769) rounded out the field.
UST's Katie Kruchten (shown at right) won medalist honors out of 37 players with an 86-80/166. Emma Wilson (91-79/170) and Kaya Westling (86-88/174) placed 2-3. Annelise Keune tied for sixth (92-87/179). Shannon Richter tied for 11th (95-87/182).
Individuals for UST were Cassy Norton, fourth place (92-83/175); Mari Liestman, tied for sixth (92-87/179); Paige Reinfeld 97-94/191); and Kristin Tischer (94-97/191).
