Women's Golf takes fourth at Carleton event

The Tommie women's golf team took fourth place out of six teams at the two-day ACM Carleton Invite. The final 18 holes were contested Sunday.

Katie Kruchten (85-84/169) and Emma Wilson (88-81/169) tied for 10th in a field of 35 players. Cassy Norton (86-88/174), Shannon Richter (84-90/174), Kayla Westling (94-85/179), Annelise Keune (99-93/192) and Mari Liestman (98-96/194) rounded out the UST entrants.

St. Olaf (327-318/645) came from behind and won by 21 shots. Carleton (331-335/666), Wartburg (325-347/672), UST (343-338/681), St. Olaf II (360-349/709) and Macalester (376-355/731) took second through sixth.

UST competes next weekend Oct. 1-3 in the MIAC Championships at Coon Rapids' Bunker Hills course.

Wartburg (Iowa) (325) leads St. Olaf (327) by two shots, followed by Carleton (331), UST (343), St. Olaf II (360) and Macalester (376). took second through sixth.
