Second-place St. Thomas and first-place Hamline skated to a 3-3 tie in overtime Friday in downtown St. Paul at the Tria rink. UST, which never trailed, kept alive hopes for an MIAC title or co-title.

The teams play against Saturday in Mendota Heights at 2 p.m.

No. 8-ranked Hamline has a one point lead on the No. 9 Tommies and No. 7 Gustavus. The Gusties won 3-1 at St. Ben's.

St. Thomas (15-3-6 overall, 11-1-5 MIAC) can secure at least a share of the MIAC championship with a victory Saturday.

The Toms outshot the Pipers 43-23 and extended their MIAC unbeaten streak to 15 (10-0-5). Rylie McDonell, Kaylee Druk and Allison Parnell scored for UST, which held briefs leads at 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.
