Women's Soccer continues win streak

Senior All-America Mallory DeBoom scored the game's only goal in the 63rd minute as No. 15-ranked St. Thomas Women's Soccer scored a 1-0 road win Sunday morning at UW-Stevens Point.

The Tommies (11-1) have won 11 in a row and in the process handed Stevens Point just its second loss (9-2-2).

Kaley Roberts had the assist. Keeper Olivia Elvidge had eight saves, and the defense shut down six corner kiks for the Pointers. It's the eighth shutout of the season for UST.

DeBoom now has seven goals on the season and 35 for her career.  The Tommies are 40-0-4 in games she secures a point and are 29-0-2 when she scores a goal.

St. Thomas plays at home Tuesday against UW-Eau Claire.
