Tommie Women's Soccer senior McKenna Peplinski is among 11 players voted onto the CoSIDA Division III Academic All-America first team announced Tueday. Twenty-three other players were honored on the secod and third teams.

Peplinski (Maple Grove, Minn.) has a 3.99 grade-point average while majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

In 81 career games, she recorded 10 goals and six assists. The Toms finished 61-15-6 in her four-year era -- the best four-year run in program history. The Toms went 11-1 in games on her career when she scored a point. This year's team swept the MIAC regular-season and playoff championships.

Peplinski received the Tommies' 102nd CoSIDA Academic All-America honor. This marks the 18th consecutive school year that St. Thomas has had at least one CoSIDA Academic All-America. In the last 19 years, St. Thomas has received 80 AAA honors, and 18 different sports have had a player who received this honor.
