St. Thomas junior Tessa Trettel's game-winning road overtime goal in the 109th minute at Bethel 10 days ago just wasn't dramatic enough.

So teammate Elizabeth Luotto responded Tuesday night with another overtime game-winner, this time in the 110th minute, with a mere 13 ticks left on the clock.

Luotto's Tuesday heroics turned a likely tie into a 1-0 victory at Concordia-Moorhead in a frosty contest moved to a turf field at Fargo Shanley High School and played with a 39-degree temp and 18 mph winds.  Luotto converted the game's only goal off a corner kick served in by Gaba Palazzo.

It was the fourth consecutive overtime game played by the No. 19-ranked Tommies (8-2-2 overall, 4-1-1 MIAC), who are 2-0-2 this month with three shutouts. The Toms remain one of four teams with one or no losses in league play.

It was St. Thomas' seventh shutout so far in 2019 and 20th shutout in the last two seasons.

In the last 14 days, the Tommies also played 0-0 ties through 110 minutes against Wartburg and Carleton.

The Tommies had a 9-1 advantage in shots on goal and a 10-3 edge in corner kicks. Olivia Elvidge had one save and recorded her 12th career shutout and 19th career victory.

It was Luotto's ninth goal over her four seasons, and the Toms are 9-0 in games on her career when she scores a goal.

St. Thomas is home Saturday to face Hamline.
