Sophomore Kristen Epperly's first-half goal provided the day's only scoring as No. 19-ranked St. Thomas Women's Soccer scored a 1-0 victory at Macalester in league play late Saturday afternoon.

The Tommies (12-2-2 overall, 7-1-1 MIAC) ran their unbeaten streak to nine, including five consecutive wins, and recorded their ninth shutout. They remain tied for the conference lead with Augsburg with two games to play.

Roberts assisted on the Epperly goal for the Purple, who had a 11-1 advantage in corner kicks and a 10-0 edge in shots on goal. The Toms are 6-0 in games on her career when Epperly scores a goal.

St. Thomas is home Tuesday to play third-place St. Catherine (3:30 p.m.).
