Newcomers, old guard lead Women's Tennis road win

Tommie Women's Tennis opened the 2019 portion of its schedule with Sunday's 9-0 win at Concordia-Moorhead.

Coach Terry Peck used eight players, including junior transfer Natasha Hood and freshmen Brooke Hapuku, Olivia Paradise and Taylor Jackson.

Taylor McLeod recorded a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles and won at first doubles with her sister Paige. The McLeods joined Catherine Lindsay and Hood with victories in both singles and doubles.

St. Thomas (2-0) plays St. Catherine next Saturday at the University of Minnesota Baseline courts.
