Title: Assistant Coach - Sprints, Hurdles

Patrick Keyes is entering his fifth year as assistant coach for the University of St. Thomas Men’s and Women’s track & field teams, working with sprinters and hurdlers. This will also be his third year assisting with Men’s Cross Country. 

His efforts have helped both track and field programs to claim eight straight Indoor and Outdoor MIAC Championship team titles. During that same span, athletes under his direction have won 19 individual MIAC Championship titles and a combined ten individual NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championship qualifiers. Katie Murray earned All-American honors in the indoor 200m (2018) and Mallory Adamson earned All-American honors in the 400m Hurdles (2019). 

From 2013 to 2015, Keyes was assistant track and field coach at Edina High School in Edina, MN working primarily with the hurdles. His athletes went on to earn seven All-State awards in the 110m and 300m Hurdles. 

Keyes was a four-year track and field student-athlete at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Eau Claire, Wis.  He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing.

He lives in St. Paul and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Leadership in Student Affairs from the University of St. Thomas.
