Freshman Olivia Moll placed fifth and led eight Tommie runners in the top 20 to lead the No. 19-ranked Tommie women's cross country team to second place out of eight teams Saturday at the Luther Invite in Decorah, Iowa. Moll clocked 19:15 for the 5,000-meter course. Senior Amber Matzoll placed eighth. Sophomore Martha Hubbell took 11th in her first race as a Tommie. Juniors Molly Clarke and Becca Wilkin and sophomore Carly Scheuerman also had top-16 finishes.
Iowa Central Community College took first with 19 points. UST (51), Loras (84) and Luther (116) were the first three Division III team finishers.
