Baseball gets Tuesday win, now 7-3 on season

Andrew Tri struck out seven and allowed two runs in six innings and Tommie Baseball slugged 16 hits in Tuesday's 14-4 win over Franklin (Ind.) as they continue their Florida trip.
Chandler Schaefbauer had four hits and five RBI for St. Thomas (7-3), including a three-run double in the second inning. Ryan Lust had three hits, and Dan Bollingberg and Kyle Halvorson each had two hits.
On Monday, St. Thomas was unable to hold an early lead and fell 11-10 to Colby on a walk-off hit in the ninth inning.
St. Thomas closes its trip with a Wednesday 1 p.m. rematch game against Colby.
