Saturday Feb. 13 games postponed; latest winter schedule updates

There have been several changes to Tommie winter sports schedules in recent days with some additions, as well as some postponements due to Covid protocols.
All games scheduled for Saturday Feb. 13 have been postponed.
Women's Hockey
Tommie Women's Hockey home game against Bethel set for this Saturday has been postponed. Coach Tom Palkowski's team is preparing to open its season with a Sunday Feb. 14 at St. Ben's (6 p.m.) in St. Cloud in an MIAC clash.
St. Thomas is scheduled to start its home season Wednesday Feb. 17 with a 7:30 p.m., non-conference home contest against Hamline in Mendota Heights.
The Toms are scheduled to face St. Ben's again, at home Friday Feb. 19 (7 p.m.) in another non-conference game.
Women's Basketball
The Tommies (2-0 overall, 1-0 MIAC) had Saturday's scheduled 2 p.m. home game against Gustavus postponed by Covid protocols.
Coach Ruth Sinn's team, who are receiving votes just outside the top 15 national poll, is tentatively scheduled play again on the road in MIAC action Saturday Feb. 20 at St. Mary's.
Men's Basketball
The Tommies (2-0 overall, 1-0 MIAC) had their Saturday Feb. 13 game at Gustavus postponed due to Covid protocols.
Coach John Tauer's Toms, who are ranked at No. 6 in the top 15 national poll, are tentatively scheduled to open their home season with an MIAC clash Saturday Feb. 20 against St. Mary's.
Men's Hockey
The Tommies (1-0 overall, 0-0 MIAC) had the Saturday Feb. 13 MIAC game at Bethel postponed. A Wednesday Feb. 17 home game against Concordia has also been also postponed.
Coach Jeff Boeser's team is tentatively scheduled to play St. John's at home in MIAC action Saturday Feb. 20.
Track and Field
St. Thomas will compete at home Friday Feb. 19 in a dual meet with Hamline in Anderson Fieldhouse. Women's action will start at 4 p.m., with men's action starting at 6 p.m.
