Senior All-America Hannah Spaulding contributed 16 points, six boards and four blocks in 23 minutes to lead No. 3-ranked St. Thomas to a 90-31 win over St. Ben's in MIAC women's basketball play Wednesday night at Schoenecker Arena.

The first-place Tommies (23-1 overall, 17-0 MIAC) ran their season win streak to 13, their home victory streak to 22, and their win string over conference opponents to 71.

Coach Ruth Sinn's team secured another solo MIAC championship, and can join a select list of teams to go unbeaten on the league regular-season with a win Saturday at St. Mary's.

St. Thomas shot 54 percent from the floor, had only nine turnovers, had a 53-28 rebounding edge, and posted a 44-8 advantage in bench points.

Kaia Porter had 13 points and four assists in 15 minutes., Kelsie Cox had 11 points in 17 minutes, and freshman Brynne Rolland added 10 points and six rebounds in 13 minutes.

Three players shared the scoring lead with six points each for the Bennies (14-10, 10-7), who had a four-game win streak halted.
