Tommies open season 2025-26 season on the road
ST. PAUL, MINN.- The St. Thomas Women's Hockey team hits the road to open the 2025-26 season against Post. Puck drop is set for 1:45 p.m. CT on Saturday Sept. 20th and 11:00 a.m. CT on Sunday, Sept. 21st at the Sports Center of Connecticut.

Scouting the Eagles
Post is led by interim head coach Brandon Brown who is entering his first season at the helm of the program.
The Eagles were picked to finish seventh in the NEWHA preseason poll. Last season, Post finished 13-21-3 overall, and 11-14-3 in conference play.
Post returns their top goaltender from last season, Hannah Saunders. Saunders recorded eight shut outs and a .943 save percentage last season.
Tommie Newcomers
The Tommies have welcomed 11 newcomers to St. Paul ahead of the 2025-26 season. Three transfers and eight freshmen.

Back for more
St. Thomas returns their top scorer and assists leader in junior Madison Brown. Brown scored 10 goals for the Tommies and recorded 11 assists.
Chloe Boreen and Rylee Bartz return and look to be big contributors for the Tommie offense as they scored a combined 17 goals during the 2024-25 season.
Last Season
The Tommies finished the 2024-25 regular season in seventh place in the WCHA with a 6-21-1 conference record. Overall St. Thomas posted a 9-25-2 record in their fourth season in Division I. The program picked their first sweep of a nationally ranked opponent when they completed the sweep over Minnesota Duluth on home ice on Jan. 24.
Preseason Polls
St. Thomas Women's Hockey has been picked to finish sixth in the eight team WCHA preseason poll, which is voted on by league head coaches.
Reigning national champions, Wisconsin is picked to finish at the top and win the Western Collegiate Hockey Association's 2025-26 regular season title.
